Skylar LeBron's Projects
Skylar LeBron is a new college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, a minor in Children's Rights, and an Education Certificate for Addiction Prevention and Treatment. As part of the course curriculum, Skylar has worked on several projects that have helped them gain hands-on experience in the field. Here are some of the projects that Skylar has worked on:
Program Development & Evaluation

Research Highlight - All of these documents include research of a program, their goals, their success, the need for it as well as evidence based recommendations for future success based off of the findings. This really showcases my ability to look at something and research it from the inside out to them provide recommendations on how to improve it and also how to affirm that it is a needed resource.
Addiction Prevention and Treatment
Here you will find some insight into the process of creating treatment and prevention plans for those who have experienced addiction diseases as well as some personal experiences I have had in with this population.
Applied Work Based Learning Experience Highlight - Support Group Observation. This showcases how I was able to go into the field with my knowledge and hold a professional yet warm ground in working with this population of people.

Diversity Highlight - Future Me. This was a special project because I was part of the majority that overlooked our elderly. After taking this course and being educated on the different diversities of the world, this was a humbling assignment to tap into since I was looking at it from my own POV as an older person and what I wished for myself at the point in my life.
